Why VML

Logistics Is Not New To Us

Vet Med Logistics was founded by Mario J. Cochran, Chief Warrant Officer Two, U.S. Army (Retired), after twenty years running logistics operations for the United States Army, including combat deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq and a Bronze Star Medal for his service.

In the Army, when the mission depended on supplies arriving intact and on time, there was no acceptable version of late. We bring that same standard to medical logistics, because when the cargo is a lab specimen, a prescription, or a patient headed to treatment, the delivery is never just a delivery.

What do you transport?

Medical documents, pharmacy items, lab specimens, medical supplies, and administrative materials between healthcare facilities, labs, pharmacies, and provider offices across the Houston metro. If you're unsure whether we can move it, ask.

Are your couriers HIPAA trained?

Yes. HIPAA Awareness for Business Associates certification is on file (Certificate BA-24635), along with OSHA bloodborne pathogen and specimen transport training. Certificates available on request.

How fast can you pick up?

STAT direct drives are dispatched as soon as you call. Same-day requests submitted during business hours are handled that day. Scheduled routes run on your calendar, not ours.

Do I get proof of delivery?

Every delivery closes with a signature, photo, and timestamp sent to your team. Chain of custody is documented at every handoff in between.

What area do you cover?

Harris, Fort Bend, Montgomery, Galveston, and Brazoria counties as standard territory. Dallas–Fort Worth and Louisiana runs available on contract.
